Delivering Food Security on Limited Land (DEVIL) aims to tackle one of society’s greatest contemporary challenges – feeding a growing population now and in the future on limited land resources. The four-year project was launched in May 2015.
DEVIL is a partnership between the Scottish Food Security Alliance-Crops (SFSA-C), which is a collaborative venture between the University of Aberdeen, The James Hutton Institute and University of Dundee, and leading research institutions from 7 other countries including the University of Minnesota (USA), CSIRO (Australia), University of Witswatersrand (South Africa), The Brazilian Space Agency (INPE; Brazil), the Central Rice Research Institute (India), INRA (France) and ETH Zurich (Switzerland).
The project is grateful for the generous support of the Belmont Forum and the FACCI-JPI initiative.
